Editors and administrators who sign in use a session stored in the browser. That session is required for the admin area to function and is not used for advertising.

Measurement

If an analytics integration is enabled, it may set a first-party cookie or use local storage to distinguish repeat visits in aggregate reporting. No analytics integration is active unless it has been configured by the publisher, and integration status is visible in the admin settings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent signing in to the admin area but will not affect reading the publication.
